We are a small but dynamic team of skilled and passionate researchers devoted solely to research, working in close collaboration with National and International scientists. We are a team of researchers from various disciplines (mathematics, chemistry, biology and computer science) providing guidance, training and consulting in all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology, ranging from statistics to network biology.

Prof. Gajendra Pal Singh Raghava

Raghava is Professor and Head at Center for Computational Biology, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Delhi), India. Before joining IIIT-Delhi (Feb. 2017), he was working as Chief Scientist at Bioinformatics Centre, CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Chandigarh, India. He did his M.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi in 1986. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics in 1996 by IMTECH and Panjab University, Chandigarh. He worked as Postdoctoral fellow at Oxford University, Oxford and European Bioinformatics Institute, Cambridge, UK (1996-98). Also worked as Bioinformatics specialist at UAMS, USA (2002-03 & 2006) where he established bioinformatics infrastructure. Dr. Vivek Dhar Dwivedi

Dr. Vivek Dhar Dwivedi has done his Ph.D. in the area of anti-dengue drug discovery from M.G.C.G.V. Chitrakoot University and worked as a bioinformatician at ICMR-NJIL&OMD, Agra. His specializations are in drug discovery, molecular evolution, sequence analysis, and bioinformatics software development. He has published more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed International journals and attended several International and National Conferences. He has 35 accessions in NCBI, GenBank to his credit. Previously, Dr. Vivek Dhar Dwivedi has also worked as an Assistant Professor in Uttaranchal College of Science & Technology, Dehradun, where, apart from teaching, he has also supervised dissertations of graduate and postgraduate students. He has also worked as a Project Fellow in Forest Pathology Division, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, and has been a key resource person in various training programme and workshops. .... publication


Dr. Nitin Wahi

Dr. Nitin Wahi has completed his Ph.D in the area of Algal Biofuels (Plant Biotechnology) from GLA University, Mathura. His specialization is in the areas of Cellular Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is the PI of Foldscope Research Project entitled “Biodiversity and ecological interaction of algal strains found in the local water bodies of Mathura region” funded from DBT, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. He has published more than 15 research papers, 3 accession in NCBI, GenBank. Previously, Dr. Wahi has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Biotechnology Department, GLA University, Mathura and as a visiting faculty at Department of Biochemistry, Khandari Campus, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Univeristy, Agra. He is also a guest faculty at Biotech Department, Sanaskriti Univeristy, Mathura. Apart from teaching he has also supervised several dissertations of UG and PG students.


Dr. Avinash Mishra (Visiting Scientist)

Dr. Avinash Mishra is the lead scientist & Co-Founder at Growdea Technologies Pvt Ltd. Before Growdea, he had a 4-year prior experience running a start-up. He also availed of the Indo-Australian Gold fellowship at Griffith University, Australia. In Growdea, his role includes heading Research & Development (R&D) activities and Techno-Commercialization of the products to be developed focussing on machine learning techniques and its application in various domains. At Griffith University, he worked on computational drug design, protein structure prediction, and implementation of a machine learning approach to solve biological and chemical problems. Earlier, he worked in AstraZeneca R&D in the Computational Biology Division and was engaged in developing protocols for the identification of new target molecules. His first post-doctoral research was on the design of small peptides to stop insulin aggregation. He completed this work at the Chemical Engineering Department- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He earned his doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from IIT-Delhi at a supercomputing facility for bioinformatics and computational biology (SCFBio).
